Delivery Information.
The run up to Christmas can be slightly unnerving when sending fresh produce by post, so we stop a little earlier than some to ensure that everything we send arrives early, safe and sound.
Last orders for deliveries before Christmas 2023:
WEDNESDAY 13TH DECEMBER
AT MIDDAY
We despatch orders on Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week.
Free delivery for orders over £30. Eligable orders will be sent with Royal Mail 48hr service.
Royal Mail Tracked 24hr - £4.95
Royal Mail Tracked 48hr - £2.95
Orders received after midday on Wednesday each week will be packed and posted the following Tuesday.
This timetable is because we hand-make all of our products in small batches, we are not a factory.
It is also because our cakes are perishable and this way our products have maximum chance of reaching their destination before the weekend - to avoid the chance of them sitting in a courier warehouse all weekend.
All delivery times may increase during very busy delivery periods such as Christmas and we do not offer compensation should the goods take longer to arrive.
We use Royal Mail to deliver our food products. At present, we only accept orders for delivery to the United Kingdom.

AMENDING ORDERS
Owing to our packing schedule, we may not be able to amend orders. If you need to amend your order please contact us immediately via orders@greenandgrainy.co.uk and we will get back to you as quickly as possible.

Product Care.
Our products arrive with you ready for eating straight away. Best served with your favourite warm beverage!
Storage advice.
If you’re not eating them straight away, you can store the products in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Alternatively, if you’re very restrained, you can freeze the products. Our cakes are suitable for freezing upon delivery for up to six months.
Once defrosted, keep covered and refrigerated and consume within 4 days.
Our cakes take less than 15 minutes to defrost, so you always have fresh cakes at your fingertips!
CAKES IN TRANSIT
The boxes that the cakes travel in have been bespoke made to keep them safe and sound. The products will arrive in perfect condition to refreeze, refrigerate or consume.
When delivery has been made you are responsible for the food product and we take no responsibility for the quality of the product if you choose to not store them in the conditions advised as stated above.

Our Packaging.
Having as little impact on the environment as possible is important to us at Green + Grainy and this is why we choose to use recyclable and home-compostable packaging.
Our cake boxes have been bespoke made to fit the cakes, in a bid to minimise unnecessary packaging and avoid taking up too much space in your freezers!
Each tray is wrapped in biodegradable, home-compostable paper, there is no cellophane wrapping in sight!
All the brown card, although still made from trees, is FSC approved, meaning they are made from 100% recycled card and promote responsibly managed forests, helping to take care of the wildlife who call it home.
