promotion terms & conditions

1. “We” / “Us” / “The Promoter” is Green & Grainy Ltd. “You” / “Your” is the entrant.

2. This Promotion is only open to residents of the United Kingdom mainland aged 18 or over, excluding employees of the Promoter, their families (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse and life partners) and anyone professionally associated with this Promotion.

3. No purchase necessary; however, internet access and a valid Instagram profile is required. Posts and stories (see below ‘5. To Enter’) should include Green + Grainy products that the entrant has received by mail, bought from Green + Grainy at a market or found for sale in one of our wholesale partner stores.

4. Entry Period: Each monthly giveaway will run from the first to the last day of each month inclusive. The winner will be announced on the second working day of each month.

5. To Enter: Enter by tagging us on Instagram using our handle @greenandgrainy - be sure to tag us in the photos and the caption so that we received the notification. Only entrants that we have acknowledged will be entered into that month’s competition; we will post one Acknowledgment story per month, tagging that month’s entrants. Each month we will post a story to Instagram tagging all the entrants. If you have entered that month’s competition and you’re not tagged, send us the post or story that you entered via direct message on Instagram.

6. You can enter as many times as you like! Each post or story will count as one entry. You can also add the hashtag #greenandgrainy to your photos, posts and stories for an extra entry - so that’s two entries per post or story.

7. Winner Selection: On the first working day of each Entry Period, 1 winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries. Each entry that comes in is given a number: the first entry is numbered 1, the second is numbered 2 etc. We then use a random number generator to generate the winning number for us to use each month.

8. The prize is an 8 piece selection box, The Complete Collection, which contains one slice of each of our 8 original flavours. It’s worth £18 and will be sent with the Royal Mail Tracked 48hr service. If requested we are happy to swap the prize to another product of the same value, simply let us know once we’ve contacted you informing you that you’ve won that month’s prize.

9. Winner Notification: The winning entrant will be notified via Instagram direct message and by us tagging them in the Winner Announcement story. The winner will be asked to follow these instructions below to claim their prize:

   1. Reply to the direct message with the address to which you’d like the prize to be sent… that’s it!

   2. We will NEVER ask you for pay for anything, if you received a message from a fake account asking you for bank details please report and block the account.

   3. We will only ask you for a delivery address, and if you are choosing to gift your prize to another person, we will also ask for you a personalised message.

   4. The winner must claim their prize within seven days.

10. Prize Acceptance: In the unlikely event that a Prize doesn’t arrive within 28 days of prize acceptance, the winners will have a further 28 days to inform the Promoter by emailing hello@greenandgrainy.co.uk. In the event that a winner does not inform the Promoter within this time frame, the Promoter will reserve the right to not reissue the prize or limit its value at their sole discretion.

11. Provided no objection is received, if you are a winner, your surname and county of residence will be made available by the Promoter at www.greenandgrainy.co.uk/winners one month after the close of the Promotion. You can object to your surname or county of residence being published or request for the amount of information being published to be reduced by emailing hello@greenandgrainy.co.uk. Without prejudice, the Promoter will provide this information to the Advertising Standards Authority on reasonable request.

12. The Prize is transferable to another product of the same value, however it cannot be redeemed for monetary value or for any other form of compensation. If for any reason any element of the Prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion to substitute another prize for it, of equal or greater value.

13. An entry must be made directly by the individual entering the Promotion. Incomplete or illegible claims together with claims which do not satisfy the requirements of these Terms & Conditions in full will be disqualified and will not be considered.

14. In the event that the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or does not comply with these Terms & Conditions and to cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion or invalidate any affected entries.

15. No responsibility can be taken for entries or winning claims that are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt. The Promoter does not guarantee continuous or secure access to the web page.

16. The Promoter, together with any associated agencies and companies, will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Nothing will exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.

17. The Promoter will not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations or any delay in performing its obligations within these terms and conditions If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs caused by (but not limited to) global or regional health crises, weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, epidemic, pandemic, famine, plague or other natural calamities and acts of God or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter.

18. The Promoter may refuse to award a Prize in the event of any entrant’s fraud, dishonesty, breach or non-entitlement under these Terms & Conditions or seek recovery of its value if the Prize has been awarded.

19. Any and all personal data supplied for the running of this Promotion will be used solely for the purpose of this Promotion by the Promoter and/or by any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion on behalf of the Promoter and will not be disclosed to a third party for any other purpose unless your positive consent has been obtained. Your personal data will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy, available at: www.greenandgrainy.co.uk/privacy-policy

20. In the instance any provision of these Terms and Conditions are judged to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, this will not affect or impact the remainder of the Terms and Conditions, and the Promotion will continue in full force and effect.

21. By entering this Promotion, you will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

22. In the event of a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and the details in any promotional material, the details in the Terms & Conditions will prevail.

23. These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law and their interpretation and application will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales
